On the 9th October the Royal Latin hosted the 2024 Extraordinary People Awards, recognising local people who have gone above and beyond in their service to the community. Congratulations to all of the award winners: Richard Watkins (Integrity award), Alex and Laura Penny (Resilience award), Elly Kenealy (Respect award), Finley Shudell (Courage award) and Sheila Handley (Compassion award). Thank you to Buckingham Mayor, Anja Schaefer, for presenting the awards. On Friday 11th October the Royal Latin will hold a non-uniform day in aid of the winners’ respective nominated causes: South Central Ambulance Charity, Open House, George Grenville Academy Nursery, Brain Tumour Research, Buckingham Community Lunch and Project Street Life (Buckingham).
